Red Rocks Magic

The Red Rocks Magic experience is a "sleights of mind" (mentalism & magic) exploration combined with extensive audience interactions. No two shows are ever alike, because the show is audience driven. This is NOT a hypnosis show. The premise is to take the audience on a journey into the magically unexpected. Are they your thoughts and decisions, or are they his? Maybe a mixture of both?

This show is not about the performer - it is about the audience. The only goal is memorable entertainment!

Both! The ingredients for Red Rocks Magic are your thoughts served up in amazing ways. You will see psychological illusions (apparent mind reading), influence, observations and magical techniques. There will be plenty of audience participation. Nothing is ever set up, and there are no stooges in the crowd.

Brett's goal is to achieve a unique vibe; what might it feel like to have a psychic experience. Like any good narrative, the show escalates from the explainable to the totally impossible. Everything is always classy and in good taste.

It's psychic entertainment. Sedona is one of the most mysterious and beautiful places on Earth; a place known for unseen energy and vortexes. The show is meant to propose a simple question: What would it feel like if you actually could pick up on someone else's thoughts?

Some of us are more intuitive than others, but most can probably agree that we all have mental abilities that are largely untapped. We have all experienced moments of anticipating what a friend or loved one is about to say - before the words come out of their mouth. Or making a phone call at the exact moment someone is thinking about you.

Brett Barry seeks to explore the thoughts & abilities of his audiences. We promise that the show will be amazing, fun and ultimately memorable.

Show tickets are $30 in advance for non-reserved house seating, and $35 at the door on event day. Premium front row seats (11 seats) are $45 and include a VIP wristband, complimentary glass of Rosé wine or non-alcoholic beverage upon arrival (21 and over).

No, general admission seating is first-come, first served for seating and premier VIP (first row) seating. We recommend early arrival for best seating availability. Doors will open 45 min before show scheduled start time. We recommend arriving at least 15 min prior to show start (4PM).

The Mary D. Fisher theater is Sedona’s premiere art-house venue, operated by the Sedona International Film Festival. The Parking lot is located directly in front of the building and is free at all times.

If you are in the mood for an adult beverage to pair with the show, you can choose from a good variety of beers and wines. 21 and over please! ID's will be checked.

The show experience is best suited for guests 18+. No small children under 13 please. Guests over 21 (with ID) may purchase alcohol.

While there is not a dress code, this is a movie theater environment so dress for comfort.

Absolutely yes! Photos are allowed during the show (without a flash), but no video please. Feel free to share your favorite pics on social media and tell your friends your minds were blown!

Doors will open at 3:00PM and we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early to grab a glass of vino or a refreshment. The show will start promptly at 4PM.

Brett Barry is a full time Mentalist (psychological entertainer) and excited to bring his unique show to beautiful Sedona - one of the most unique and magical places on Earth.

Brett Barry says that he doesn’t read minds – he reads people. Prior to performing, he had a successful 25 year career in sales before re-inventing himself in 2013 to become a full time entertainer. Coincidentally, re-invention seems to be a major theme of both the place and the people of Sedona.

As you might expect, Brett's "people skills" now come in quite handy for his shows.

He comes from a family steeped in show biz going back to the mid 1930's. His late grandfather DAVE BARRY (the comic & actor, not the writer), was best known for his hilarious role as Mister Bienstock in the classic Billy Wilder film “Some Like It Hot,” with Marilyn Monroe. He was also the opening act for Wayne Netwon (during his heyday) in Las Vegas for over 2 decades.

Brett has graced the stage across the USA for companies such as Skechers, GoDaddy and multiple times for The Arizona Cardinals. He has also acted as a magical consultant for actor Neil Patrick Harris and Magician David Copperfield.
